With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Delilah JoAnn Green of Scottsboro, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 21, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her great-grandparents, Jimmy, Betty Smith, Wayne Jones and Donna Green; her great-aunt BJ Thompson; and her great-uncle Randy White.
She is survived by: her parents, Sierra Southard and James Green of Scottsboro; her sister Jessie Jane Colter Jones; her grandparents, Sherry, Ron Shackford, Tabitha, Timothy Houk, James Green and Trenda Anderson; and her great-grandparents, Lisa, Greg Chastain, Larry Green and Sheila Jones. She is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the New Hope Funeral Home (2500 Oak Grove Rd, New Hope, AL 35760). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the New Hope Funeral Home Chapel (2500 Oak Grove Rd, New Hope, AL 35760). A burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Union Cemetery (12005 Co Rd 8, Woodville, AL 35776).
