He was predeceased by: his son Karl Kevin Provens; his sister Dora Fennell; and his grandparents, Robert, Ella Kelso, Jonas and Imogene Chubb.
He is survived by: his wife Leigh Lance; his children, Nicholas, Jourdain (Courtney), Ashanti Chubb, Brittany and Chad Provens; his parents, Alfred, Sr. Chubb and Peggy Chubb; his grandchildren, Nicholas Chubb, Delilah Chubb, Kadence, Ella Provens, Jiakese and Addalin Provens; his brothers, Chad Chubb (Sherri) and Jason Chubb; and his close friends, Pamela Provens, Lajarvis Provins, Jason Stewart, Kevin Jenkins, Fes Davis, John Tolliver and Keith Garth.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Valley Funeral Home - Scottsboro (674 Snodgrass Rd, Scottsboro, AL 35769). A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
