He was predeceased by: his parents, Britt Dease Henry and Frances Gertrude Cook Henry. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Jockisch Henry; his sons, Robert Shannon Henry (Janet) and Stephen Shane Henry (Mindi); and his brother Wallace Earl Henry (Peggy). He is also survived by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
