It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathy Cain Carpenter Coleman (Sawyerville, Alabama), born in Columbus, Georgia, who passed away on May 6, 2018, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sister Emily Carpenter Davis. She is survived by: her husband Harris M. Coleman Jr.; her daughters, Kelli Coleman Bergman (Jon) of Scottsboro and Kristi Joyce Coleman of Opelika; her mother-in-law Gladys Seale Coleman; her siblings, Janice Henderson Warren (Ernie) of Phenix City and James Fredrick Carpenter, Jr. (Lynda) of Stockbridge; her siblings-in-law, Kenneth Davis of Phenix City and Mary Coleman Lawson of Greensboro; her grandchildren, Jon Riggs Bergman Jr., Ollie Williams and Georgia Williams; and her child Columbus.
