It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Knight Dopson (Satsuma, Alabama), who passed away on December 22, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Bennett and Emaline Bennett; her husband Charles R. Dopson; and her grandson Michael McDonald. She is survived by: her sister Mildred Steele; her children, Rayburn Trotter (Leah), Judy Pledger (Joe), Lavon and Doris Knight Davis; her stepchildren, Kathy Tomaschik (Wilhelm) and Michael Dopson (Sandy); her grandchildren, Allison Nelson (Kris), Burns Trotter (Stevie), Patrick Pledger (Melissa), Ron Pledger, Daniel Pledger (Crystal), Steven McDonald, Jamie Davis (Melinda) and Kathy Davis; and her stepgrandchildren, Grant Dopson (Sarah), Tara Johnson (Derek), Brian Tomaschik (Stephanie) and Daivid Tomaschik. She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren; and 2 great, great-grandchildren.
