He was predeceased by: his wife Audrey Smith Pringle; his son Joseph "Bud" Leon Pringle, III; his parents, Joseph Leon Pringle and Birdie Mae Essary Pringle; and his brother Delano Lawson Pringle.
He is survived by: his daughter Cyndee Gangawere (Doug); his granddaughters, Karla Constantine (David) and Kristen Griffin (Blake); his great grandchildren, Reagan, Alexander, Madison and Abigail; and his nephew David Pringle (Linell).
