He was predeceased by: his parents, Porter "Doc" Snyder and Trixie Snyder (Woodard); his wife Martha Dale E. Snyder (Jenkins); his siblings, Frederick Snyder (Dorothy), Edward "Bub" Snyder (Ruby), Ralph Snyder (Annie Ruth), Dorothy Myrick (Frances) and Elizabeth Jones (J. W.); and his son-in-law Robert Lynn Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Dudley A. Snyder (Mary Ann), James Stephen Snyder (Patsy) and Sybil Susan Maeger (Thomas). He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
