Vida Ellen (Baker) Fox Obituary

Vida Ellen Baker Fox, 95 of the Carlisle Community passed away Sunday, February 23, 2020 at the home of her daughter, Martha Hudson. Mrs. Fox was born November 16, 1924 in Bibb County. She was the first born child of James Thomas Baker and Harriet Levonia Aultman Baker. She was a long time member of the Carlisle Church of God, and was retired from the Lee Company.
Mrs. Fox was preceded in death by her husband, Madison Hamilton “Matt” Fox, her parents, and a brother, William Joseph “Billy” Baker. She is survived by her daughters, Martha Hudson and her husband, Claudie, and Ilene Hopper; son, M. H. Fox, granddaughters: Rachel Whisenant, Angela Jackson and her husband, Dwayne, Jennie Hopper, and Dana Miller and her husband, Jeremy; grandsons: Foster Hudson, Nathan Fox, Tollie Hudson and his wife, Alicia, and Anthony Hopper and his wife, April; great-granddaughters: Heather Stanfield, Meighan Hudson, Ashlee Jackson, and Madison Hopper; Great-grandsons: Bruce Brumblow and his wife Crissy, Andy Brumblow, Matthew Hudson, Jonah Miller, Caleb Hudson, Josh Jackson, Brody Miller, Arrie Hudson and Aaron Hudson; great-great-grandaughters: Jazmine Stanfield and Jacey Brumblow; great-great-grandsons: Justin Stanfield, Jagger Stanfield, Hunter Brumblow, and Bo Brumblow; and sister: Shirley Hale.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Etowah Memorial Funeral Home. The Reverends Tollie Hudson and Jonah Miller will officiate. Music will be provided by Alicia Hudson. Entombment will follow in the Hudson-Fox Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:30 until 2 before the service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be great-grandsons: Bruce Brumblow, Andy Brumblow, Jonah Miller, Caleb Hudson, Josh Jackson, Brody Miller, and Justin Stanfield.
