He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Ruth and Nelson Williams; his sister Kathy Amos; and his grandparents, Martha Jane, Martin Luther Williams, Bertie Mae and George Perry.

He is survived by: his wife Susan Haynes Williams of Sardis City; his children, Ivy Malone (Mark) of Washington, D. C., Leigh Dinarte (Carlos) of Bowdon, Georgia, Daniel Williams (Mary) of Sardis City and Alex Reynolds (Julie) of Vestavia Hills; his grandchildren, Ben Dinarte, Major Malone, Vivienne Malone, Haynes Reynolds and Bonnie Ann Williams; his siblings, Donald Williams of Boaz, Frankie Williams of Boaz, Susan Brown (Gene) of Southside and Lisa Smith (Andy) of Huntsville; and his brothers-in-law, Keith Amos of Sardis City and Bert Haynes (Angela) of Delta. He is also survived by cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
