It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Kress Baird (Sardis City, Alabama), who passed away on December 31, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Paul and Alvie Eulanda Baird; and his siblings, Tom Baird, Lavaughn Baird, Buck Baird, Duke Baird and Irene "Pete" Williams.
He is survived by: his sisters, Syble Scott and Dorthy Wilson; and his pet BoBo. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Etowah Memorial Chapel (12600 US-431, Sardis City, AL 35956). A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
