He is survived by: his wife Marylene; his children, Patty Wilson, Marilyn Lawley (Jamie), Jeff Thacker (Vered) and Micah Joe Thacker; his grandchildren, Jamie, Michelle, Kaitlin, Shani, Elyor, Loteon, Orion, Stephen, Brandon and Kerian; and his siblings, William Thacker and Ella Jean Steele. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
