It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theresa Pettis (Horn) Markel (Saraland, Alabama), who passed away on October 19, 2019, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Horn and Blanche Horn. She is survived by: her husband John; her daughters, Lindsay Mathews (Kenneth), Leigh Hixon (Graham) and Tara Piotriowski (Joe); her sister Judy Kinard (Jeff); her nephew Kellen Kinard (Katy); and her niece Hannah Bahakel (Cole).
In lieu of flowers, you may wish to honor our mother through North Mobile Christian School- a place where she found joy and helped give scholarships to deserving students in the community.
