It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roland Eugene Fortenberry of Saraland, Alabama, who passed away on April 16, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Eugene Foxworth Fortenberry; and his daughter Laura Fortenberry. He is survived by: his mother Evelyn Fortenberry (Hearn) of Wilmer; his fiancée Faye Pettis of Mobile; his children, Jason Fortenberry (Carolyn) of West Conshohocken, Pennsylvania and Amy Caldwell (Matt) of Prattville, Alabama; his sister Janet Cecchi (David) of Wilmer; his grandsons, Nathan Fortenberry, Landon Caldwell, Dylan Caldwell and Parker Caldwell; and his nieces, Amanda Hendricks (Mason) and Rebecca Midgette (Cecchi).
