He is survived by: his wife Mamie Sue Vaughn Austin; his children, James Austin (Debra) and Julie Austin of Saraland, AL; his granddaughters, Monica Atkins of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Jessica Haley Austin of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and his great grandchildren, Ethan Atkins and Bailey Atkins.
