He is survived by: his wife Cynthia; his children, Randall Knapp and Mindy McWhirter; his grandsons, Mason Johnson and Elijah Miller; his stepdaughter Christi Turner (Buddy); his grandchildren, Catherine Shipp and Christopher Shipp; his stepson Todd Norris; his grandson Andrew Norris (Courtney); and his siblings, Ronald Crawford Knapp (Angie), Angela Knapp Forbus (Gary) and William Jeffrey Knapp (Amy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
