He was predeceased by: his parents, Matilda Hayes and Reese Ruffin Jr.; his grandfather Willie Hayes (Hattie); and his aunt Lizzie Eaton. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Hayes of Saraland, AL; his children, Amber Hayes of Chicago, IL and Marcus Rodgers of Saraland, AL.; his grandchildren, Kaniyah Connors, Brittney Cobbs, Tanitia Moore, Jailyn Rodgers, Mason Rodgers and Corey Dembry; his brother Jamarcus King; his cousin Reese Ruffin III; and his sisters-in-law, Emma Robinson and Deloris Robinson of Saraland, AL.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
