He was predeceased by: his parents, Hersey Lee Wood Lewis and Alton Gaines Richardson, Sr.; his sons, Charles Anthony Richardson and Matthew Gaines Richardson; his grandson Matthew Blake Richardson; his grandmother Ada Wood; his aunt Dorothy Wood; and his sister Regina Lewis.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Lipps Richardson of Saraland, AL; and his brothers, Charles D. Lewis, Carlos G. Lewis, Lemoyne Lewis, Gregory Lewis, Mark D. Lewis and David C. Lewis.
