He was predeceased by: his parents, James Franklin and Marjorie Franklin; and his wife Peggy McIntosh Franklin. He is survived by: his close friend Janice Crews; his children, Joey Hundley (Penny) of Auburn, AL, Sheila Walters of Enterprise and Melonie Gibson (Jody) of Enterprise; his sister Jan Franklin Hallmark of Samson, AL; his nieces, Donna Beavers of Atlanta, GA and Ronda Adamson of Opp, AL; and his nephew Robert Hallmark of Samson, AL..
