He was predeceased by: his mother Frances Tate Tomlin; and his stepfather Tim Tomlin. He is survived by: his father Jerry Gibson (Betty) of Enterprise, AL.; his wife Laura Lynn Gibson of Samson, AL; his son Blake Gibson (Courtney) of Samson, AL; his grandson Lucas Gibson of Samson, AL; his siblings, Sean Gibson (Nichole) of Dothan, AL. and Tonya Gibson Gullion (Ed) of Enterprise, AL.; and his stepbrothers, David Marks (Felix) of Chicago, IL. and Johnny Marks (Maureen) of Sacramento Ca. He is also survived by several Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (241 John H Day Rd, Samson, AL 36477). Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Piney Grove Baptist Church (241 John H Day Rd, Samson, AL 36477). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
