She was predeceased by: her parents, Wade Akridge and Ela Helms Akridge; and her husband Ellis Aplin. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Aplin (Kerri) of DeFuniak Springs, FL and Sheila Herring (James) of Wicksburg; and her grandchildren, Ethan, Abby Mackey (Jay), Zachary and Kaylee Aplin.
