She was predeceased by: her parents, Olen Dewey Jeffcoat and Alma Lee Kelley Jeffcoat; her husband Horace Greely Simmons, Jr.; and her siblings, Gerald Jeffcoat and Linda Lucas.
She is survived by: her children, David Simmons (Nodie) of Samson, Andy Simmons (Sharlene) and Nedra Patchett of Dothan; her grandchildren, Ashley Simmons of Geneva, Kate Simmons of Samson, Shaun Patchett (Caitlyn) of Rehobeth and Kristi McHenry (Casey); her great grandchildren, Brody Thomas McHenry of Panama City, FL, Gavin David McHenry of Panama City, FL and Elliot Simmons of Geneva; and her siblings, Dewey Jeffcoat of Birmingham and Peggy Stack (John) of Niceville, FL..
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hacoda Baptist Church (237 Camp Victory Rd, Samson, AL 36477). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
