Mable Horn Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mable Horn of Samson, Alabama, who passed away on January 3, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, L. J. Mitchell and Annie Merle Mitchell; and her siblings, Roger Mitchell, Hattie Mae Vaught and Betty "Teannie" Walker.
She is survived by: her husband Bruce Grimes; her children, Dessie Pierce of La Marque, TX, Debra Smith of La Marque, TX and Dennis Horn of La Marque, TX; and her siblings, Harold Mitchell (Mary), Hilda Biggerstaff and Nellie Mobley. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; thirteen, great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Skeen Funeral Home (707 S George Wallace Dr, Troy, AL 36081). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Moriah Cemetery (1053 County Rd 1111, Troy, AL 36079).
