He is survived by: his wife Peggy Butler Thomasson of Samson; his children, Nikki Thomasson of Samson and Michael Thomasson of Samson; his sister Sharron Thomasson Jackson (James) of Montgomery; and his grandchildren, Petty Officer 3rd, Class Blaine Lyle of Kodiak, AK, Makayla Thomasson of Geneva and Madelyn Higginbotham of Cleveland, GA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
