She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hobart "Jimmy" and Minnie Edna Ashley Branch; her husband Alvin Dykes Grimes; and her siblings, Carl Branch (Lillian), Hubert Branch (Helen), Leila Powell (James), Irene Yohn (Henry), Ivy Kilpatrick and Nannie Mae Branch.
She is survived by: her son Terry Glen Grimes (Kenneth Powell) of Samson, AL. She is also survived by nephew and long-term caregiver; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
