With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Carolyn Ann Dyess of Samson, Alabama, born in Mobile, Alabama, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Carolyn Ann left this world on March 25, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though Carolyn Ann may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Carolyn Ann touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Wilmer Hixon Adams and Mattie Kathleen Adams (Bolan). She is survived by: her children, Ytonna Dyess Finnegan (James) and Adam Perry Dyess (Katherine); her grandsons, Aidan Michael Finnegan and Sterling Perry Dyess; and her siblings-in-law, Barbara Dyess, Janice Crews, Jerone Dyess (Wanda) and Jerry Dyess (Sarah). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Epiphany Episcopal Church (302 E Grubbs St, Enterprise, AL 36330).
