He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Weeks and Gladys Renfroe Weeks; his wife Merle Weeks; and his brother Vernell Weeks. He is survived by: his children, James Weeks (Janie) and Janett Burkett of Samson; his grandchildren, Josh Burkett (Jacquie) of Mobile, Ashley Burkett of Washington, D. C. and Tyler Weeks (Gracie); and his great grandchildren, Emma, Sadie, Allie and Kate Burkett. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
