He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Bell and Bea Bell; his brother Jerry; his sister-in-law Pat Bell; his parents-in-law, Marlin and Vilera Thrasher; and his siblings-in-law, Maureen (Al Marcks) and Marlin (Kay Thrasher).
He is survived by: his wife Jerrie Thrasher Bell; his daughters, Tahnya Bell and Beverly Bell Turner (Ron); his siblings-in-law, Bonnie Thrasher Lindsey, Gene Thrasher (Pam), Boyd Thrasher (Dody), Terry Thrasher (Petra) and Michael Thrasher (Renae); his grandchildren, Tara Scogin (Will), Anna Beth Northington, Mackenzie Turner and Joseph Northington; and his great grandchild Henry Scogin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Christ Episcopal Church, Hospice of West Alabama, or the charity of one's choice.
