She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Handley and Zelma Handley; her son Eddy Alexander; and her grandsons, Jeremy Alexander and Matthew Alexander.
She is survived by: her husband D. L. Jones of Northport, AL; her children, Susan Alexander of Northport, AL, Cathy Tittle (Ronald) of Northport, AL and Brian Alexander of Sanford, FL; her grandchildren, Kyle Alexander (Lauren), Jed Joiner (Cortney), Parker Christian (Courtney), Connor Christian (Megan), Nathan Alexander, Amanda Phillips (Ricky), William Alexander, Adrienne Alexander, Alannah Sanders, Beckett Christian, Alyssa Harris and Rylee Phillips; her sister Carolyn Appling (Harold); and her close friend Marilyn McGraw (Cricket). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
