He was predeceased by: his parents, Ulysses Madden and Mable Madden; his wife Myrtis L. Madden; and his son Dwight James Madden. He is survived by: his children, Linda Hardge (David) of Smiths Station, AL, Nettie Chambers (Roy) of Valley, AL, Sarah Jews (Eddie), Barbara Carter of Salem, AL and Willie Samuel Madden of Valley, AL; and his grandchildren, Duwanda Nelson (Artis), David Hardge (Brandy), Antonio Hardge (Gina), Toriano Madden (LeKisha), Andre Chambers (Angelica), Dorion Ryans (Stacey), Samorica Branyan (Justice), Portia Chambers and Mariah Carter (Robert). He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren; a host of cousins, family, and friends.
