He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Kokowicz and Marian McDonald Kokowicz; and his brothers, Robert Kokowicz, Edmund Kokowicz, Jr. and Charles Kokowicz.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Cheryl Lang and Michael Kokowicz (Julie); his siblings, Arlene Kmet, Sandy Phillips, Gloria Kokowicz and Richard Kokowicz (Sharon); his grandchildren, Amy Layfield (Ricky), Sara Hale (Chris) and Joel Lang; his great grandchildren, Brock Hale, Marissa Mailhot and Allyson Layfield; his niece Destiny Hampton; and also Fay Whale. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews, extended family, and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to Parkwood Healthcare in Phenix City on behalf of Mrs. Barbara Kokowicz.
