It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Thomas of Salem, Alabama, who passed away on June 15, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Brady Jones and Mary L. Jones; and her brothers, Samuel Jones (Martha) and James Jones. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Cartwright, Raymond Thomas Jr. (Elaine), Margaret Jones and Ronald Thomas (Janice); her godson Roylee Floyd (Shonda); her sister Emma Jean Pitts; and her sister-in-law Mary Emma Thomas. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
