He is survived by: his mother Margaret Cole Benton; his children, Ronald "Eric" Thompson (Julie) and Summer Burton; his siblings, Adriane Haines and Steve Moschella (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Mason Thompson, Maleah Thompson, Peyton Hardy and Caleb Burton; his stepmother Viola Thompson; and his stepsiblings, Jeffery Thompson, Josh Thompson (Shelly), Mickey Benton (Melinda), Tammy Thompson (Bruce) and Michelle Briggs. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts.
