With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard M. Young of Salem, Alabama, born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on June 1, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald W. Young and Ruth Morris Young. He is survived by: his wife Monica Wendell Young of Salem, AL; his sons, Rick M. Young, Jr. (Becky) of Tampa, FL and Donnie M. Young (Shana) of Columbus, GA; and his grandchildren, Brian, Parker Ruth, Abby and Camryn Ann. He is also survived by other extended family and numerous friends.
