He is survived by: his wife Ruth Baxley; his siblings, Larry, Roy Baxley, Verlon Grimes and Mary Benton; his brothers-in-law, Frank and Claude Reeves; his nephew Robert; his niece Barbara Harris; his brothers-in-law, Darrel (Theresa Harris), Sapryna and Tim Balstad; and his grandchildren, Clay, Brittany Horne, Tyler, Cori Horne, Seth, Meg Horne, Ridley, Chad Stearman, Halston, John Zehr, Gunnar, Heather Balstad, Micah, Grant Janik, Megan, Blake Breimann, Mollie, Stephen Terry, Sara Harris, Mallory and David Downey. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
