He was predeceased by: his grandfather Terry Nichols. He is survived by: his parents, Michael Rex McLaney and Melinda McLaney Daniel; his sister Olivia Wilson; his stepfather Gary Daniel; his grandparents, Rex, Sarah McLaney and Debra Stem; his aunts and uncles, Cindy Martin, Hope Greathouse (Carl), Glen Martin and Austin Nichols (Maliesa); and his cousins, Ragan Greathouse, Carley Chambless (Jeremiah), Taylor Mace (Avery), Stephanie Boan (Will) and Brianne Elliott (Christian). He is also survived by extended family members and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to The First Tee Program at Godwin Golf Course.
