She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Barrett and Iola Thomas Barrett; and her siblings, Stoney Barrett, Marvin Barrett, Stanley Barrett, Hazel Drennen and Betty Wells.

She is survived by: her husband Eric Hilyer; her daughters, Stephanie Brown (Darren), Brandy Tucker (Allan), Kelli Roland (Benji), Haley Adams (Nathan), Ellie Wallace (Aaron), Erica Hilyer (Will), Heather Olinger (Brian) and Kristen Holt; her grandchildren, Drew (Lindsey), Toree (Bill), Mitchell (Katlyn), Sydney (David), Kendall (Nathan), Triston, Hunter, Grayson, Karston, Bentleigh, Lukas, Parker, Lawson, Tyson, Gabriel, Cooper, Scout and Palmer; her sister Maxine Glines; and her friend Tammy Keeble.

It is with love for this gift-giving soul that the family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to First Freewill Baptist Church in Opelika, AL.
