He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gus Ripley McClain and Bernice Gail McClain; his wife Patricia Ann McClain; and his children, Matthew McClain (Nikki), Dawn Martin, Kenneth McClain, Shanna Whitley (William), Jesse McClain, Marcus McClain, Tamara Hartley, John Ford, Patti Thompson, James Martin and Denise McClain. He was also cherished by several grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
