It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Herring of Salem, Alabama, born in Donalsonville, Georgia, who passed away on February 3, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Durwood Daniel Herring and Cecil Horn Herring; and his brother Ricky Horn. He is survived by: his children, Teri Williams (Fred) of Phenix City, AL and Randy Herring (Bridgette) of Salem, AL; his grandchildren, Hannah Williams (Taylor Smith) of Columbus, GA, Tyler Williams of Phenix City, AL, Jonah Herring of San Antonio, TX and Joshua Herring of Salem, AL; his brothers, Jimmy Herring (Lynn) of Thomaston, GA and Billy Herring (Jeanette) of Newnan, GA; his great grandchild Mazie Jane Smith; the mother of his children Joice Linander of Phenix City, AL.; and his stepdaughter Kristi Wilmer. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many close friends.
