She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Lee Langford and Ellen Inez Ozburn Langford; her husband James Otis Shirey; and her sisters, Sandra Langford Madore and Marie Langford Janney.

She is survived by: her daughter Tammy Renee Shirey Waites (Rickey); her grandchildren, Josh Waites (Brittany) and Ryan Waites (Destiny Andrews); and her great grandchildren, Cheyenne Waites and Eliza Waites. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
