He is survived by: his wife Janet Cole of Salem, Alabama; his son Deon Bowles (Jill); his grandsons, Austin Bowles (Taylor) and Trey Bowles (Erica); his great grandchildren, Madeline, Reagan and Avery Bowles; and his half-sisters, Cynthia Holland and Billie Stiyer. He is also survived by 7 nieces, 3 nephews, 14 great nieces, 6 great nephews, 1 great great nephew.
