It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma Lavender Brown of Salem, Alabama, born in Phenix City, Alabama, who passed away on January 18, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis "Sonny" Lavender and Jessie Lunsford Lavender; and her brother Danny Mark Lavender. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Brown; her daughters, Julie Hudson (Tim) of Crawford, AL and Jennifer Everage of Barnwell, SC; her grandchildren, Brandon Hudson (Ashlyn), Alex Hudson, Tyler Lenoir, Emmaleigh Herring and Izzy Herring; and her great grandchildren, Scarlett Hudson, Livi Hudson and Willow Hudson. She is also survived by many extended family members and caring friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting contributions be made to the Columbus Hospice House in Mrs. Brown's memory.
