He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Frank" Wilson Long and Mary Hollis Long; his wives, Joan Copeland (Nolin) and Rilla Long (Kersey); and his siblings, Jane Monticello, Dorothy Waldrop, Marie Bullock, Joyce Eggleton and Eddie Frank Long.
He is survived by: his son Calvin "D."; his stepchildren, Wayne Frey, Tammy Cranford, Jeff Frey and Donnie Frey; and his siblings, James Aubrey Long, Sarah Quigley, Hazel Wadsworth, Sherll Davidson and Claudine Wilson.
