He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Rubelle Nobles and David Verral Wingate; and his wife Kathryn Wingate. He is survived by: his son Matthew Wingate (Derek Moore); his sister Millie Hamilton (Michael); his nephews, Richard Anthony (Claire), Luke Anthony (Rhonda Pryor) and Michael Clark (Diamond); his close friend Marlene Faircloth; and his great-nephews, Clark and Hamilton.
