He is survived by: his children, Shilinda Abston of Chatom, AL, Felipha Howard of Butler, AL, Monique Abston (Dexter) of Philadelphia, MS, David Phillips of Washington, D. C., Ulanda James (Henry) of Jackson, AL and Rachel Nicholson (Tremayne) of Gainestown, AL; his nephew Clint Fikes (Barbara) of McIntosh, AL; and his niece Sherry Hanna (James) of Montevallo, AL. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 15 great grand children.
