He was predeceased by: his parents, William Earl Coker and Joyce Verline Sullivan Coker; and his son Nic Coker. He is survived by: his wife Debra Coker; his son Clint Coker; his grandchildren, Emileigh Coker, Baylee Coker and Kelcey Coker; and his siblings, Melvin Coker (Shelley), Marilyn C. Pugh (Wayne), Velma Smith, Kimberly Tarver (Duffy) and Tim Coker. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
