He was predeceased by: his parents, William Allen and Rosetta Meares; his wife Helen Nolan Meares; and his son Randy Meares. He is survived by: his daughter Dimple Garrison (Lambert); his grandchildren, Patrick Meares (Robin), Brandi Garrison, Breanna Meares and Hannah Meares; and his great grandchildren, Alexander, Bradley, Connor, Rylee and Samuel.
