It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Taylor Durrett of Russellville, Alabama, who passed away on October 31, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Taylor and Mattie Taylor (DeVaney); her husband Barney Ervin Durrett; her grandchildren, Aaron Durrett, Michael Titus and Kimberly Layman; and her great grandchild Ramsey Durrett.
She is survived by: her sons, Barney Ervin Durrett, Jr. (Peggy) and David Eugene Durrett (Elizabeth); and her grandchildren, David Durrett, Jr. (Jane), Jessica Durrett Work (Michael), James Durrett (Leah) and Thomas Titus. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren; a host of nieces & nephews; and many friends.
