He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Holden and Madge Holden; his uncle Troy Holden; his nephew Michael Stancil; and his friend Joseph Barnett.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Holden; his children, Wesley Holden (Heather) and Alanna Holden; and his siblings, Leon Holden (Jan), Dorothy Stancil (Lonnie), Linda Vinson (Ronald), Jeanette Bray (David), Paulette Ledbetter (Ken) and Ann Hicks (Robert). He is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews, 28 great nieces and nephews, 3 great-great nieces and nephews.
