It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Clayborn Gandy of Russellville, Alabama, born in Leighton, Alabama, who passed away on April 29, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, W. C. Gandy and Lassie Gandy (King); his sister Brenda Hill; and his close friend Jim Sink. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Diana Gandy; his children, Denise Price (Mark) of Chesterton, IN, Dwayne Gandy (Shelley) of Altamonte Springs, FL and Beth Gandy of Ocoee, FL; his grandchildren, Mavric Price (Abigail), Shelby Price, Lauren, Drew, AnnMarie and Peyton Gandy; his great grandchildren, Maddox, Emersyn Price and Griffin Price; and his siblings, Harvey Gandy, Jerry Gandy (Joyce), Sue Hallmark of Alabama, Bernice Riggs of Alabama, Raye Ritchie (W. H.) of Alabama, Dorthy Hatton of Alabama, Louise Vandiver of Alabama, Barbara Hagood of Alabama, Faye Perez (Cel) of Alabama and Mattie Whitworth (Jerry) of Alabama. He is also survived by nieces & nephews.
