She was predeceased by: her parents, E. E. (Eddie Ayers) and Betty Ayers; and her grandparents, Freeman, Ethel Lolley, Tom and Elizabeth Ayers.

She is survived by: her husband Roger Hines; her son Matthew Sr. (Valerie); her grandchildren, Matthew Jr., Caleb, Alyssa and Elizabeth Hines; and her sisters, Shirley (Roger), Deb (Roger) and Brenda Ayers.
